You do. Verified carriers bid on your order; you accept a bid. SECRUL never assigns a carrier or sets a rate.
No. You pay the carrier directly on your own terms. The invoice and documents live on the order.
We check USDOT and operating authority with FMCSA, insurance on file, and that the person bidding belongs to the carrier.
Only companies with an active carrier MC and USDOT number can bid. The carrier that signs the rate confirmation assigns a driver who is verified and linked to that carrier; only that driver can access the driver app for the order. At pickup and delivery, the verified driver generates a QR code in the app that refreshes every 10 seconds. Scanning it on site confirms the driver’s identity and checks that the arriving truck and trailer match those assigned to the order.
